Who are you?

We are a veteran-owned gear company. We build military-style outdoor and survival equipment on the patterns that already proved themselves in the field, and we sell it direct so you are not paying a retail markup on top of a distributor markup.

What do you actually make?

Our own line covers rain ponchos, poncho liners (woobies), pop-up bivy tents, entrenching tools, duffel bags, helmet covers, and camp blankets. Our best seller by a wide margin is the Military-Style Rain Poncho, followed by the Poncho Liner. We also carry Holosun optics as an authorized dealer.

Is your gear actual military surplus?

No, and we do not claim it is. Our products are built to military patterns and specifications, not pulled from government surplus stock. That means you get the proven design in new condition, in the pattern and size you want, instead of taking whatever a surplus lot happens to contain.

What does "veteran-owned" mean here?

The company is owned and operated by veterans, and a portion of every single sale goes to supporting disabled veterans and first responders. It is on every order, not a seasonal campaign.

Shipping

Is shipping really free?

Yes. Free standard shipping on every order within the United States, with no minimum. No threshold, no surprise charge at checkout.

How fast do orders ship?

Orders placed before 2:00 PM Mountain Time typically ship the same business day from our Canutillo, Texas warehouse. Standard delivery usually runs 3 to 4 business days after that.

Do you ship outside the US?

Not right now. We ship within the United States only, including APO, FPO, and DPO addresses.

How do I track my order?

You will get a shipping confirmation email with tracking as soon as your order leaves the warehouse. If it has not arrived within two business days, check spam and then email us.

What size is the rain poncho? Is there more than one?

One size, cut to the full military pattern at roughly 62" wide by 82" long. That covers most adults from head to below the knee with room to clear a loaded pack underneath.

Does the poncho liner attach to the poncho?

Yes. That is the point of the pair. The liner snaps into the rain poncho to build a two-piece sleep system: waterproof shell outside, insulation inside. Plenty of customers buy the liner on its own and just use it as a blanket.

How do I wash this stuff?

The short version: the rain poncho is hand wash cold and hang dry only, because heat damages the waterproof coating. The poncho liner and camp blanket are machine wash cold, tumble dry low. The bivy tent is wipe clean and air dry. Full care instructions are on each product page.

Is anything covered by a warranty?

The Military-Style Folding Shovel carries our limited lifetime warranty. Everything else is covered by our 30-day return policy, and if something arrives defective we replace it regardless of the window.

Returns

What is your return policy?

30 days from purchase, on unused items in original condition and original packaging. Full details are on our Shipping and Return Policy page.

How do I make a return?

Email info@usgiindustries.com or call (855) 391-0450 with your order number and we will issue a Return Authorization Number and send instructions.

Who pays for return shipping?

You do on standard returns. If the item arrived defective or damaged, or we shipped the wrong item, we cover the return shipping.
